01Vision & Mission
Vision:
- The mainstay of the vision of the Department of English is to train students in competent communication skills to prepare them for their professional needs in the globalized scenario prevalent today.
Mission:
The Department is committed to the mission of working zestfully and resourcefully to imparting the life values and presentation skills through literature.
- The turn of the twenty first century has made the English Language skills a passport to the job market to all job seekers. Ability to communicate well in English has become a hallmark of good educational foundation and a prerequisite for all graduates.
- The students are trained to possess a measurable knowledge and a set of skills in using English language in personal and professional life.
02Infrastructure
A dedicated space with 30 well equipped computers is set up in the college. The purpose of setting up the lab is to enable students learn language with proficiency with the access of audio or audio-visual materials.
English communication skills lab develops the students a habit of listening and speaking with accurate pronunciation. It includes English courses, English listening audio, English language studies and also English comprehension.
This allows students to practice the language with a much wider variety of activities and exercises based on the computer.
