In the first ever common entrance exam held for admissions in Post-Graduate courses, AP PGCET -2021.The students of SPACES Degree college secured desirable ranks. In Chemistry,  
L.Jagadeesh , 25th rank , A.Uma Maheswari 33rd rank, D Sukanya 55th rank , L V V Manikumar 56th rank , S Kavya 71st rank ,D Bhuvaneswari 97th rank. In Physics, G Sonalisha got  28th rank (SC category). Ch Teja Reshma , 21st in Biochemistry ,T Sri Poojitha 64th rank in BioTechnology and P Lalitha 87th rank in Botany secured the ranks respectively.

The student of SPACES Degree College ,V Leela Rani participated in south zone Shooting Ball championship. She represented Andhra Pradesh state. In a fierce competition, she exhibited her mettle and won the gold medal. The shooting competitions were held in  Madanapalle ,Chittoor district.
Dr K Veeraju ,principal, SPACES Degree college appreciated and wished her to win many more medals.

It is an everlasting dream for any student to participate in the country’s top most parade.The student of SPACES Degree College Mr. Ch Sai Teja was selected to represent AU to participate in Republic day Parade 2022 in New Delhi.
 The very significant one is that he is the only student who got selected from Andhra University.
AU Vice-chancellor, P V G D Prasad Reddy , congratulated Ch.Sai Teja in his chamber and wished him a great success in his career.

SPACES Degree College organized the installation function of Rotaract clubs of young leaders and Sabala of Sri Prakash. Rtr. Sri K Veerabhadra Rao, President Rotary club, Tuni attended as the chief guest and installation officer of New Office bearers, Rtr. T Venkata Rao and Rtr. P Srinivas  presided over the function and reminded the duties of the Rotaractors.

Rtr. N.Hari Chandana (III B.Sc) is nominated as president of  Rotaract club of Sabala and Rtr.R.Anand (III B.Sc)  as president of young leaders , and other board members were nominated for the year 2021-2022.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr K .Veeraju, Principal,SPACES Degree College enlightened the students about the duties of Rotaractors and self development and selfless service were the two objectives that would transform the society in a desired path. 

The students of Spaces Degree college which is a part in Sri Prakash Educational Institutions have achieved with outstanding talents in the entrance exam which was conducted by Central University. The Principal, Dr. K. Verraju has proudly announced that B. Maheshwari who has got a seat in Hyderabad Central University in Chemistry division whereas L. Jagadeesh and J. Praveen Kumar have secured seats in Karnataka Central University under chemistry division which are prestigious Institutions after Graduation. He has also further stated that it has become a custom for Prakashites to secure seats through experienced faculty who make students practising with regular classes for all competitive exams and students are getting seats with good ranks in central universities every year.

A blood donation camp was conducted in memory of sri A.Arun prasad, president, sri prakash educational society. It was organized by SPACES Degree College.  On this occasion, sri ch. Vijay prakash , joint secretary, sri prakash educational society addressed the gathering. In his address, he emphasized the service and dedication of sri A. Arun prasad to the institutions. The students and staff members donated 120 units of blood to the rotary blood bank, kakinada. Students donated  1500 units of blood to different organizations so far. On this occasion , Dr. P. Kamaraju (blood bank, kakinada), Dr. K. Veerraju, Principal, SPACES Degree college, P. Subbarao, vice principal, NSS, NCC volunteers , students and staff were present.

Expert a seminar on ‘Cloud computing and its utilities’ highlighted the basic knowledge of any field is must.
SPACES Degree College conducted a seminar on Cloud computing and grabbing the opportunities in IT.The speakers on this occasion are prof Digambar Pawar, Associate professor, school of computer & Information sciences, university of Hyderabad and sri Ravi Chandra kolluru, location head ,Tech Mahindra. At the outset,prof Pawar enlightened  the students on ‘cloud computing’ and later sri Ravi Chandra kolluru in an informal way of speaking, he stressed on the basic knowledge of IT  besides communication skills.
        Sri ch.Vijay Prakash , joint secretary , Sri Prakash Educational society said that the seminar was organized to create awareness among the students regarding the better way of exploiting opportunities  in the desired field of the students.
            In this context , paper presentation & quiz were conducted and in which the students participated enthusiastically . Around 500 students participated in this seminar. Finally , the winners were given away the prizes and cash awards. In this seminar , Dr.K.Veerraju, principal - Incharge ,sri Penugonda Subbarao , vice principal, P.Ravi Kumar Principal Sri Prakash Engineering college, SMVS Kumar , Head ,Dept of Computers, faculty members and students participated

Andhra Pradesh IT Academy conducted Campus Drive in SPACES Degree college. SRAVYA Group of companies, KARVY Solutions participated in this drive. Around 100 students who completed Diploma, B.Tech, Degree, MCA, MBA participated in this drive. Principal Incharge Dr K.Veeraju informed that 32 students got selected in this drive. In the process of selection written test and Interviews were conducted. Joint secretary sri  Ch.Vijay Prakash congratulated the students. K.Swetha , AP IT Academy District manager, Senior Executive HRs from SRAVYA Group of companies, KARVY  Solutions P. Suman ,V.Srinadh and S.D.V.Prasad conducted the interviews.

AU INTER COLLEGIATE-CUM university Kabaddi selections were conducted in SPACES Degree College. The Kabaddi games were inaugurated by AU phy Educational Director prof  N. Vijay Mohan, and Joint Secretary, Sri Prakash Educational Institutions, sri Ch. Vijay Prakash .On this occasion prof N.Vijaya Mohan addressed the students. In his speech ,he pointed out the sportsmen spirit and techniques of the game. Joint Secretary, Sri Ch. Vijay Prakash expressed his sincere gratitude to the AU for giving the opportunity to conduct the games.
                The games were conducted in two days. Around 20 teams from different colleges participated. All the students performed excellent skills in a professional way.

 As usual, this year also our proud SPACES NSS students LMD Srinivas DVV Satyanarayan and MNS Ramadevi are going to represent in pre Republic day parade camp which will be held between   Nov 5th to 14th in Gujarath. Principal Incharge Dr K.Veeraju informed that the selected students from this camp will represent in Republic day celebrations.The Correspondent and secretary sri Ch.V.K.Narasimha Rao and Joint secretary sri Ch.Vijay Prakash congratulated students on their participation in PRD camp. A blood donation camp was organized at SPACES Degree College , Payakaraopeta on 19-08-2019,On the occasion of 43rd foundation of Sri Prakash. Sri Ch.Vijay Prakash, Joint Secretary Sri Prakash Educational Society, inaugurated the blood donation camp. 

    On this occasion ,he advised the students to participate intently in social service activity besides education.Besides he stressed the point that donating blood one can save a person’s life and that is the priceless  gift to the society. Dr. kamaraju, the Officer of Rotary blood bank, informed that the body of donar can regenerate the blood within five days and also advised the students to take nutrious food to increase the haemoglobin percentage.

    The camp saw enthusiastic participation by the students and faculty members.As many as 150 blood units were collected in the camp and it was the success of camp .In this programme , Dr.k.Veerraju, Principal-Incharge, Sri P.Subbarao, Vice President, lecturers and N.C.C, N.S.S, ROTARACT students participated.
